Install a lock on a metal and glass nightstands, Place an electric drill with a spade bit the same diameter as the lock cylinder. Place the center of the drill against the mark and drill a hole through the panel of the door or drawer. Place the lock cylinder into the hole in the back of the panel. Remove the blade tip electric drill and replace it with a Philips screwdriver. Screw the mounting screws through the media guides and into the back of the drawer panel. Close the door or drawer, insert the key into the lock and engage the tongue. Pull the door or drawer gently to check the lock.
