Dreams // Swimming In Pink Waters
Dreams makes dreamy lofi pop in his Portuguese bedroom (I refuse to use the C word). He combines glistening samples, thumping drum beats and layers of analog synths to provide a haze of chill vibes that we have all started craving. Small hints of vocals are audible throughout his tracks, however they serve to sharpen the nostalgic mood rather than convey a message.
Like a lot of these Bedroom Pop artists he has built up a small band for live shows and has already started composing some tracks that incorporate different instruments and styles.
Dreams has recently released an EP on cassette tape titled Forgotten Thoughts which was released by the french label SVN SVS records who also have Glitter Bones on their artist list. I’ve already inquired if they ship to Australia.
Dreams has also recently released a digital EP called Simple Steps. Which is available for free on his Bandcamp.
Lets pray that we see/hear more of him in the future.
