MICKEY MICKEY ROURKE and Lester Brown have finally released their well anticipated collaborative album Vision Quest under the moniker MICKEY BROWN.
Vision Quest is a childlike discovery of their own abilities in making sounds that please the ear. The slow churning tropical droplets of music are brimming with spur of the moment creativity, as if they werent rehearsed. The tracks are filled with the deep bass found in Lester Brown’s work, the glistening plucked guitar which is trademark MICKEY MICKEY ROURKE, combined falsetto vocals and hundreds of little samples and recordings placed into the mix.
