So excited to see some new music by one of the most promising new artists around. I’ve been following his music since before the blog started. You can almost see him bouncing around in front of the sampler as he performs this thumping but withheld track. Its claimed to only be a demo, but once you’ve listened to it you can’t tell me you won’t open up itunes and put it on your little ipods. I’m sorry about the photo, but I think it fits so well to this track. I hope I don’t get sued. [photo]

Here’s a powerful track to get you pumped for the new week. I found this on The Road Goes Ever On’s recent mix called Small Summits - definitely some choice tunes on there worth exploring! Though now a member of the Bay Area music scene, Canada’s GOBBLE GOBBLE takes the very minimal, chilled out “Beach 2” by Persona La Ave and completely flips it around. It’s like the musical equivalent of turning a 1988 Volvo into a Le Mans race car. It’s not really a remix, it’s a whole new song completely. Check out GOBBLE GOBBLE on Tumblr too.

Amazingly pretty track from the amazingly nice guy Dylan Dawkins from Persona La Ave.
Rachel Levy from Kiss Kiss Fantastic donated her angelic voice to this one, also writing the lyrics. It really makes the track that much more magical.
She also recently had a colaboration with the rapidly growing Blackbird Blackbird. Posted that gem here.
I really hope to see more colabs from Rachel and Dylan in the future.
