Ice Cream Shout // Tattooed Tears

I instantly fell in love with this track after seeing it on Stadiums and Shrines a few minutes ago. Anyone who has ever liked any song by The Smiths will do the same.

Ice Cream Shout are from Japan and have their first album out on their Big Cartel and on Itunes.

Knight Stalker // Yellow Popsicles

Every time that snare hits it feels like christmas. So chill.

Grab some of his stuff off his Big Cartel page.

Love Lake // Curses

This catchy lofi pop tune comes from Anders Carlson from his one man project Love Lake. He will be releasing a self titled / self released album in September.

The video is comprised of footage he discovered working at an 8mm to DV transfer shop. It has such a warm and inviting feel to it, with a seeming focus on smiling faces. It certainly suits the carefree fuzz of the track.

I’ve also got to commend him on the self releasing of his album, because with a track like this he’d have all sorts of record distributors after him.

Download the mp3 for free off his Bandcamp right away to play it on repeat on your ipod while skateboarding/windsurfing/getting high.

Brandon Biondo & Mat Cothran // Untitled

Brandon Biondo of Coolrunnings and Mat Cothran of Coma Cinema combine musical powers to create a thick, juicy 80’s analog synth laden track.

Mat’s dark vocals remind me of Lou Reed as Brandon’s bright chords and synthesized guitar licks send shock waves through my mind.

Brandon has also cooked up a vertigo inducing video for this one. Check out his other awesome vids on his vimeo page.

Wise Blood // STRT SRNS

My internet buddy Mike over at Dead As Digital crafted this fitting video to Wise Blood’s explosive track STRT SRNS.

This is what Mike had to say about it:

I ran across this footage over at archive.org and immediately thought about this song, something about the slurred emotionality that’s displayed. The footage was too compressed to really have a lot of fun with effects, so it’s pretty bare bones as edits go, but a lot of fun to do.

Download Wise Blood’s great new EP ’+’ from their Bandcamp.

Hard Mix // Memories

I return to the Internet music world to find this great video posted everywhere.

Noah a.k.a. Hard Mix has woven together a great video for his emotion stirring track using nostalgic footage from his childhood.

Walls // Burn Sienna

Absolutely stunning video by Dan Tombs. It takes you on a colourful, acid tripped journey through the shoegazy depths of Walls’ Burnt Sienna.

Solar Bears // Children Of The Times

Digging the video for Solar Bears’ upcoming album She Was Coloured In. Chilled out bass line and retro vocoded vocals accompanied by slightly disturbing images of what seems to be a 70’s children’s tv program.

Rangers // Deerfield Village

Killer fan video made by Wooden Lens and Bernardo Pantoja. Cheesy archive film footage provides a good backdrop for this awesome lofi track.

Rangers are from San Fran and have a new album coming out soon titled Suburban Tours on OESB.
